The International Society for Infectious Diseases is proud to announce its second Hackathon offering at the 18th International Congress on Infectious Diseases (ICID). An interdisciplinary audience will come together for three days to develop solutions to pressing global health challenges concerning the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals and infectious diseases related to inadequate Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene Conditions (WASH). Whether it be infection control practices in the hospital, hand hygiene education in schools, or latrine construction in a community, WASH challenges are universal and millions stand to benefit from innovative solutions.
